Emma Debauchez is a synesthete French girl in her mid 20's. She comes to Istanbul after having received a letter by her grandfather who had moved there a long time ago. Emma cannot manage to find her grandfather but she finds herself in trouble instead. She tells dramatic stories of her ancestors who also came to Istanbul and she starts to believe that she is going to share their destiny.
