The occupants of an old abandoned factory - renamed Metropoliz - decide to leave the barricades and to escape once and for all from the city that puts them on the margins of society, denying home, work, health and legality. Their plan is simple: build a rocket to go live on the moon. This is the story that two directors and anthropologists have imagined, to tell the mestizo city who lives illegally in Metropoliz for 4 years, populated by Italian, Tunisian, Peruvians, Ukrainians, Africans and Roma. To trace the route to the moon, were called philosophers, astrophysicists, astronauts, ufologists, radical architects and dozens of artists, who have given birth, for one year (the year of the crisis and Occupy Wall Street), at a cinematic and artistic yard. The daily difficulties, the weight of needs, have not prevented the inhabitants of Metropoliz, to respond to the provocation and build a telescope and a rocket ready to go ... winning a much bigger challenge: to demonstrate that art can change the world, that the dream and imagination are things that belong to everyone, without exception; that anything can become a symbol of redemption and a possible change.
