Recent college graduate, Tom Bernstein, is uncertain about his future. He declines a partnership in his fatherÂ’s automotive business to help his estranged brother, Alvin, escape from a mental hospital. Together, they drive cross-country in their father's prototype solar-powered car so Alvin can audition for Hollywood's next blockbuster, Space Jockey.
