The Bamiyans is an unpopular three-member rock band. The band members have totally different personalities, but share the same passion for rock. Reika (Mayuko Arisue), the lead singer, is a powerful woman and often overbearing with the others. Her vitality and cheerfulness leads the band. Zaki (Asaya Kimijima), the drums and songwriting, is somewhat offbeat and goes his own way. Not clever in any way, but always cool and a shrewd onlooker of the band. Taku (Tetsuya Makita), the guitar and lyrics, is a man of passion. He's enthusiastic about everything, but always ends up just spinning his wheels. These three get together and talk at the izakaya, the Japanese-style pub, have a quarrel at the studio and compete with another band to find their love for rock and dreams for the future.
