My Hometown

My Hometown (2011)

In 2009, Yoko Ono wrote the timeless message of Home, Hope, Faith and Love. With powerful, instructional prose such as: 'Do you know where your Hometown is? Your Hometown is a place you choose'. 'Look after your hometown in your mind. Send it lots of love'. Weaving a storyline that encompasses children and places from all over the world, this 7 minute animation of original illustrations, plays out Yoko's instructional positivism, using a backdrop of her voice, recorded especially for this film. As the soundtrack, Yoko Ono has graciously allowed the use of her original recording 'Remember Love' written and sung by her, accompanied on guitar by John Lennon.
